Card partners and deals

  • ANA's Japan-issued co-brand cards, whose Super Flyers versions come on JCB, Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club and American Express, with annual fees for the primary member from ¥11,275 (standard) to ¥198,000 (Diners premium). ANA says the American Express versions change design, benefits and fees for applications from September 2, 2026.
  • American Express Membership Rewards in the US, which converts to ANA miles at 1:1 from US-issued cards according to ANA.

How the miles are accounted for

  • ANA HOLDINGS does not report ANA Mileage Club as a segment. The results release places the mileage program inside "Other" revenue of the Air Transportation segment, together with in-flight sales and maintenance contracts.
  • No mileage liability or member count appears in the FY2025 results release, and ANA HOLDINGS' integrated report could not be read for this page.

What it means

The company does not break the program out. The closest disclosed line is ¥189.5 billion of "Other" Air Transportation revenue, up 5.1%, which the release says includes the mileage program along with in-flight sales and maintenance contracts, so the program's own revenue is some part of that figure.

ANA's own pages show the program leaning on spending as well as flying: for holders of Japan-issued ANA cards, premium status counts ANA Card and ANA Pay payments and Life Solution services alongside flights, and in April 2026 ANA announced a two-way points exchange and status match with IHG One Rewards, which has more than 160 million members.

For FY2026 ANA HOLDINGS forecasts revenue of ¥2,770.0 billion, up 9.1%, but lower operating income of ¥150.0 billion and net income of ¥96.0 billion.

What it means for your ANA Mileage Club balance

A program that earns more from selling miles to banks than from flights has an incentive to keep issuing them, and the deferred revenue line is the airline's own estimate of what an average outstanding mile will cost it to honour. Compare that with published valuations and with what Points Plug pays to see where your balance stands.
