How members earn JetBlue TrueBlue points

• Flying JetBlue: 3 points per dollar (1 on Base fares), doubled to 6 (2 on Base) when booked on jetblue.com or the app, plus a Mosaic bonus of 3 to 5 points per dollar, so Mosaic 4 members earn 11 points per dollar since February 2026.
• Flying partners: 5 points per dollar on United-operated flights (8 to 10 for Mosaic members), and 25% to 150% of the distance by fare class on Qatar Airways and Icelandair.
• JetBlue cards from Barclays: 3 points per dollar on JetBlue purchases with the no-fee JetBlue Card and 6 with the Plus, Business and Premier cards, plus a tile for every US$1,000 spent. Chase Ultimate Rewards transfer in at 1:1, Capital One at 5:3 and Citi ThankYou at a rate that depends on the card.
• TrueBlue Travel hotels and cars, JetBlue Vacations, the TrueBlue Shopping portal and, since March 2026, the Points On Repeat subscription, from US$144 a year for 1,000 points a month.

Best ways to use JetBlue TrueBlue points

• JetBlue flights, Mint included, on dates when the cash fare is low: the points price follows the fare and there are no blackout dates.
• United flights through Blue Sky, booked in the same jetblue.com search. JetBlue describes United's network as 165 US destinations and 27 European cities plus places such as Cape Town and Tahiti.
• Qatar Airways from the US to Doha and beyond, and Etihad, Icelandair and Condor for the Middle East and Europe, paid entirely in points.
• Small balances: Cash + Points from 500 points on JetBlue-operated flights and, since March 2026, seats, first and second checked bags, pet fees and priority security.

What to watch out for

• The flip side of fare-based pricing: peak dates cost more points, and there is no fixed chart price to exploit.
• Base fares earn a third of the points of other fares and cost US$150 per person to change or cancel, and JetBlue says a change or cancellation fee applies to Base fare awards too.
• Partner awards must be paid entirely in points, JetBlue publishes no partner prices, and partner seats are at the operating carrier's discretion; United award seats are capacity-controlled and scarce on high-demand flights.
• The partner list changes: Japan Airlines, added for redemptions in April 2025, is not on JetBlue's partner page in September 2026, and neither is Emirates.

Status is earned with tiles: one for every US$100 spent on JetBlue flights, JetBlue Vacations and TrueBlue Travel and one for every US$1,000 on JetBlue credit cards, and United flights earn tiles too. JetBlue set the levels at 50, 100, 150 and 250 tiles when tiles launched in May 2023, and members below Mosaic pick a perk every 10 tiles. Mosaic 3 members receive four Move to Mint certificates and Mosaic 4 members four more, eight in all, plus two for every further 100 tiles. Since February 2026 Mosaic 3 and 4 earn 4 and 5 bonus points per dollar, Mosaic 4 has lounge access at JFK, tiles earned by children 12 and under count toward the listed adult's status, and status runs through January 31 instead of ending with the calendar year.
