Qatar Airways Privilege Club award chart and sweet spots
Privilege Club uses Avios and prices Qatar Airways flights by route with a peak and an off-peak level (peak about 20 percent higher since December 2023) and a Flexi award at roughly double the off-peak price. Qatar publishes the prices through its calculator rather than as a table. Partner awards on oneworld airlines are priced by the total distance of the itinerary.
The prices below are the off-peak and peak Qatar-operated amounts compiled by AwardFares and Award Travel Finder; check the calculator for a specific date.

Amex, Capital One, Citi and Bilt transfer directly, and Chase and Wells Fargo reach Privilege Club through British Airways Avios at 1:1.
Fees and surcharges
- Every award carries taxes and a carrier-imposed booking fee that depends on origin, destination and cabin; Qatar's calculator page says these start from US$30, and points blogs report typical per-segment charges of $35 in economy, $70 in business and $100 in first.
- Changes and cancellations more than 24 hours before departure cost US$25 per passenger (free for Gold and Platinum members); between three and 24 hours before departure US$100; inside three hours the Avios are forfeited as a no-show.
- Award tickets are valid 12 months from issue, and sector changes are not permitted on partner bookings.
- Avios and cash is not available on partner awards.
Routing and stopover rules
- One-way and return awards are both available, and each cabin in a mixed-cabin itinerary is priced separately.
- A stopover in Doha is possible on some multi-segment itineraries according to points blogs; Qatar's own pages do not set out the rule.
- Partner awards are priced on the total distance of the itinerary.
Recent and upcoming changes
- December 6, 2023: peak and off-peak pricing introduced, with peak dates about 20 percent higher.
- No Avios repricing has been announced by Qatar in 2025 or 2026 on its own site; British Airways Club's December 2025 increase did not apply to Qatar-operated flights booked through Privilege Club.

- 70,000 Avios one way off-peak or 94,500 peak from the US to Doha in business class, plus taxes and a carrier-imposed booking fee. A Flexi business award, which allows free changes, is about 140,000.
- Are Qatar Privilege Club Avios the same as British Airways Avios?
- Yes. Avios is a shared currency, and balances move between Privilege Club, The British Airways Club, Iberia Club, Aer Lingus AerClub and Finnair Plus at 1:1, so a member can price the same flight in each program and book the cheapest.
- Does Qatar charge fuel surcharges on award tickets?
- Qatar's terms describe a carrier-imposed booking fee on award tickets that varies by route and cabin, starting from about US$30. It is well below the surcharges British Airways adds to its own long-haul flights.
