Why Korean Air SKYPASS miles are worth what they are
SKYPASS miles are valued at 1.3 to 1.6 cents each in September 2026, and the member-reported average of 2.86 cents is among the highest of any program. Korean Air releases first and business class award seats on its own flights generously, allows family members to pool miles, and prices trans-Pacific premium cabins at levels that return several cents a mile against Korean Air's high cash fares.
The catch is earning them. No US bank program or Marriott Bonvoy transfers to SKYPASS (Marriott ended the partnership in June 2024), so balances come from flying Korean Air or SkyTeam partners and from co-branded cards.
