Korean Air SKYPASS award chart and sweet spots
SKYPASS prices Korean Air flights from a region-based chart with peak and off-peak seasons and four cabins: Economy, Premium, Prestige (business) and First. Partner flights on SkyTeam and other carriers use a distance-based chart. Korean Air's site shows the chart through a redemption tool rather than a printed table.
The program is in the middle of absorbing Asiana Club: Asiana miles convert into SKYPASS on December 17, 2026, and Asiana's Star Alliance partners drop away with it. SKYPASS has no US credit card transfer partners since Marriott Bonvoy ended the relationship.

Fees and surcharges
- Taxes and fuel surcharges are paid separately on every award, with a minimum of about USD 30 on international routes.
- Award tickets are valid for one year; miles must be transferred to a family member's booking within 24 hours of reservation.
- No stopovers on award tickets; open jaws are allowed on round trips.
Routing and stopover rules
- Round-trip and one-way awards on Korean Air; partner awards are priced by cumulative distance.
- Peak season surcharges apply on the Korean Air chart around Korean holidays and summer.
- Asiana miles can book Star Alliance partners only until December 1, 2026; after conversion they buy Korean Air and SkyTeam flights.

- September 15, 2026: Korea Fair Trade Commission approved the SKYPASS and Asiana Club integration plan.
- December 17, 2026: Asiana miles convert to SKYPASS at 1:1 for Korean Air flights and 1:0.82 for partner and non-flight use; converted miles stay usable for ten years at Asiana's December 31, 2024 prices, without first class.
- December 16, 2026: Asiana leaves Star Alliance.
