How do I join JetBlue TrueBlue?
Online and free of charge, on JetBlue's TrueBlue sign-up page (trueblue.jetblue.com/enroll/join-us). You need to be a member to earn and redeem TrueBlue points, on JetBlue Vacations packages as well as flights.
Does it cost anything to join JetBlue TrueBlue?
No. You have to be a TrueBlue member to earn and redeem TrueBlue points, and JetBlue says anyone who is not can sign up for free.
Is there a minimum age to join JetBlue TrueBlue, and can children have their own account?
Children can hold their own TrueBlue accounts: Points Pooling covers members of all ages, and for members under 13 a parent or legal guardian must enrol the child in a pool and handle all of the child's pooling activity.

How do I update my email, address or phone number with JetBlue TrueBlue?
Online, in your TrueBlue account: log in, open Profile & Settings, find the Email section on the profile tab, click Edit, then enter and confirm the new address and save it.

What do I do if I am locked out of my JetBlue TrueBlue account?
Use JetBlue's password reset page: enter the email address on your TrueBlue account and a reset link arrives within five minutes (add jetblueairways@needtoknow.jetblue.com to your contacts and check spam if it does not). The new password must be 10 to 32 characters and mix at least three of lowercase, uppercase, numbers and symbols; if the link still never comes, contact JetBlue by chat.
Earning on JetBlue flights
What a ticket earns, which fares are excluded, elite bonuses and posting times.
How are points calculated on JetBlue flights: by fare paid, by distance, or by a fixed amount?
By fare paid. Points on JetBlue-operated flights are based on the fare and eligible fees, less taxes and non-eligible fees: 3 points per dollar, or 1 point per dollar on Base fares. Distance plays no part; see the earning guide.
How many points do I earn per dollar (or per mile flown) on JetBlue?
3 points per dollar on Main, Main Flex, EvenMore, EvenMore Flex, Mint and Mint Flex fares and 1 point on Main Base and EvenMore Base. Buying on jetblue.com adds 3 bonus points per dollar (1 on Base fares), for 6 in total (2 on Base); JetBlue flights booked by phone or anywhere else earn no bonus.
Do basic economy or light fares on JetBlue earn points?
Yes, but at a third of the usual rate: Main Base and EvenMore Base fares earn 1 point per dollar, or 2 when bought on jetblue.com, against 3 and 6 on Main, EvenMore and Mint fares.
What elite bonus do status members earn on JetBlue flights?
Since February 1, 2026 Mosaic 1 and Mosaic 2 members earn 3 bonus points per dollar on top of the base earn, Mosaic 3 members 4 bonus points (10 per dollar in total) and Mosaic 4 members 5 bonus points, for 11 points per dollar.

Do taxes, fees and surcharges on an JetBlue ticket earn points?
No. Points on JetBlue flights are calculated on the fare paid and eligible fees, less taxes and non-eligible fees.
Do group bookings, tour packages or charter flights on JetBlue earn points?
Not on the group booking itself. JetBlue groups start at 10 people on the same flights, and TrueBlue numbers (or other airlines' frequent flyer numbers) cannot be added to group reservations, nor do Mosaic benefits apply; after travel, each flyer can request points in their TrueBlue account for any JetBlue-operated flight taken within the past 12 months.

Which airlines can I credit to JetBlue TrueBlue?
United, Condor, Etihad Airways, Icelandair, Qatar Airways and Cape Air earn and redeem TrueBlue points, and Singapore Airlines and South African Airways earn only. JetBlue's codeshare and interline partners (Aer Lingus, Air Serbia, British Airways, El Al, Porter and Turkish Airlines) earn no TrueBlue points.

It depends on the partner. On Qatar Airways, points are a percentage of the miles flown, set by booking class: 150% in First (F, P, A), 125% in Business (J, C, D, I, R), 100% in Economy (Y, B, H), 75% (K, M, L, V), 50% (S, N, Q) or 25% (G, T, O, W).
Which booking classes on partner airlines earn points in JetBlue TrueBlue, and which earn nothing?
On Qatar Airways every listed booking class earns something: 150% of miles flown in F, P and A, 125% in J, C, D, I and R, 100% in Y, B and H, 75% in K, M, L and V, 50% in S, N and Q and 25% in G, T, O and W.
Do partner airline flights count toward elite status in JetBlue TrueBlue?
Yes, on United: TrueBlue points and tiles are earned on United flights booked on jetblue.com or in the JetBlue app while you are logged in to your TrueBlue account.
Does it matter whether a partner flight is ticketed by JetBlue or by the partner for JetBlue TrueBlue earning?
Not on Icelandair: qualifying Icelandair-operated flights earn TrueBlue points whether you book on jetblue.com (enter your TrueBlue number while booking, or ask an agent at check-in) or on icelandair.com (add the number when you complete the reservation).

Where does JetBlue publish the partner earning charts for JetBlue TrueBlue?

Can I earn points on trains, buses or ferries through JetBlue TrueBlue?
Not through JetBlue's rail partner: Brightline, the Florida train line that connects with JetBlue at Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, is a codeshare and interline partner on which you can't earn or redeem TrueBlue points.

How long after a flight can I claim missing points from JetBlue TrueBlue?
12 months: you can request points for a JetBlue-operated flight you completed within the past 12 months. For partner airlines (such as United, Qatar Airways, Etihad, Icelandair, Condor or Cape Air) JetBlue says the time allowed may vary by partner.
How do I file a missing points claim with JetBlue TrueBlue?
Log in to your TrueBlue account and request the missing points there for the JetBlue-operated flight, within 12 months of flying. You cannot earn points on flights you buy for someone else. See claiming missing miles.

Which banks issue JetBlue TrueBlue credit cards, and in which countries?
In the US, Barclays (Barclaycard) issues the JetBlue cards on the Mastercard network. In the Caribbean, JetBlue Mastercards are issued by Banco Popular de Puerto Rico in Puerto Rico, Banco Popular Dominicano in the Dominican Republic and CIBC Caribbean in Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad, the Bahamas and the Cayman Islands, with more countries to come.

How many points per dollar do JetBlue TrueBlue credit cards earn?
The no-fee JetBlue Card earns 3 points per dollar on JetBlue purchases, 2 at restaurants and grocery stores and 1 on everything else. JetBlue Plus and JetBlue Premier earn 6 on JetBlue, 2 at restaurants and grocery stores and 1 elsewhere, and JetBlue Business earns 6 on JetBlue, 2 at restaurants and office supply stores and 1 elsewhere.
What sign-up bonus do JetBlue TrueBlue credit cards typically offer?
It varies by offer. Barclays' own JetBlue Plus page offers 50,000 bonus points after you spend US$1,000 on purchases and pay the US$99 annual fee in full, both within 90 days, and you may not qualify if you have or had a card in the program; in September 2026 JetBlue's card comparison page listed 70,000 for Plus, 90,000 for Premier, 50,000 for Business and 10,000 for the no-fee JetBlue Card.

Which bank points transfer to JetBlue TrueBlue, and at what ratio?
Chase Ultimate Rewards transfers at 1:1: one Ultimate Rewards point becomes one TrueBlue point, moved in increments of 1,000 from the Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Preferred or Ink Business Preferred card. The transfer partner matrix also covers Capital One and Citi ThankYou.

How long do bank point transfers to JetBlue TrueBlue take?
Chase says points transferred in the Chase Travel portal should post to the partner account within several business days, and warns that all transfers are final. You need a TrueBlue account before you transfer.
Can I transfer points back out of JetBlue TrueBlue to a bank program?
No, not from Capital One: once miles are transferred they become subject to the receiving loyalty program and cannot be moved back to your Capital One account.

Must the bank account and JetBlue TrueBlue account be in the same name for a transfer?
For Capital One, yes: the name on your Capital One account must match the name on the TrueBlue account you transfer to. Capital One converts at 5:3, so 1,000 miles, the minimum, become 600 TrueBlue points.

Do JetBlue TrueBlue credit cards have annual fees, and what perks offset them?
The JetBlue Card has no annual fee. JetBlue Plus and JetBlue Business cost US$99 and give a free first checked bag, 5,000 anniversary points, 10% of redeemed points back and a US$100 JetBlue Vacations credit. JetBlue Premier costs US$499 (plus US$150 per authorised user) and has a free first checked bag, 5,000 anniversary points, 15% back, BlueHouse and Priority Pass lounge access, up to US$300 of TrueBlue Travel credits and a Global Entry or TSA PreCheck credit; none of the cards charges foreign transaction fees.
Do any JetBlue TrueBlue credit cards include a companion fare or free flight certificate?
Yes, on the JetBlue Premier Card since spring 2026: cardmembers earn a companion pass worth up to US$500 after spending US$15,000 in a calendar year and a second one worth up to US$1,500 after US$75,000 of annual spend.

Does JetBlue TrueBlue have an online shopping portal, and how does it work?
Yes, TrueBlue Shopping: sign in, click through to one of hundreds of online stores and shop as usual, with browser cookies enabled so the purchase tracks. Points show as pending within 5 working days, are approved once the store validates the purchase (which can take up to 30 days) and are credited within 2 days of approval.
Does JetBlue TrueBlue have a dining rewards program?
At airports, yes: JetBlue's August 2023 announcement of new TrueBlue partners included Airport Rewards powered by Thanks Again, which lets members earn TrueBlue points while shopping, dining and parking at more than 2,500 locations in over 100 airports across the US, the Caribbean and Latin America.

JetBlue sells its own points subscription, Points On Repeat, launched March 31, 2026: Points Traveler at US$144 a year for 1,000 points a month, Points Adventurer at US$360 for 2,000 a month plus 2 extra points per dollar on flights, and Points Trailblazer at US$750 for 2,500 a month, 3 extra points per dollar and a 10% redemption rebate.

Groceries, yes, through the JetBlue cards: the JetBlue Card, JetBlue Plus and JetBlue Premier earn 2 points per dollar at restaurants and eligible grocery stores (JetBlue Business earns 2 at restaurants and office supply stores instead). Fuel is not a bonus category, so it earns the 1 point per dollar that applies to all other purchases.
Can I earn points on Airbnb, vacation rentals or cruises with JetBlue TrueBlue?
Vacation rentals, yes: TrueBlue Travel sells them alongside hotels, cars, activities and theme park tickets, earning 1 point per dollar and 1 tile per US$100 spent.

What are the elite status tiers in JetBlue TrueBlue?
Four levels, all earned with tiles: Mosaic 1, Mosaic 2, Mosaic 3 and Mosaic 4. Since February 2026 they earn 3 bonus points per dollar on JetBlue flights at Mosaic 1 and 2, 4 at Mosaic 3 and 5 at Mosaic 4, and Mosaic 4 also gets complimentary JetBlue lounge access at JFK.

What are the qualification thresholds for each JetBlue TrueBlue tier?
Mosaic 1 at 50 tiles, Mosaic 2 at 100, Mosaic 3 at 150 and Mosaic 4 at 250, where a tile is US$100 of qualifying JetBlue travel spend or US$1,000 on a JetBlue card. JetBlue set these levels when tiles replaced Mosaic-Qualifying Points in 2023, and its Move to Mint page still ties Mosaic 3 to 150 tiles and Mosaic 4 to 250.

When does the JetBlue TrueBlue qualification year start and end, and how long does status last?
Qualification counts spend completed by December 31, and since the changes announced for 2026 Mosaic status and its benefits continue through January 31 each year instead of ending with the calendar year, an extra month to finish holiday travel and top off tiles.

At times, as targeted offers. In May 2026 JetBlue launched a limited-time status match for Spirit Airlines Free Spirit members, Silver to Mosaic 1 and Gold to Mosaic 2, with eligibility rules, required documentation and the request form on its Match to Mosaic page.

Does JetBlue TrueBlue offer lifetime or million-miler status?
JetBlue's long-term status offer was a promotion: its '25 for 25' birthday offer gave 25 years of Mosaic 1 status, plus up to 350,000 bonus points, to members who flew JetBlue-operated flights to 25 different JetBlue destinations between June 25 and December 31, 2025 (Blue Basic fares and codeshares excluded).

What baggage benefits do JetBlue TrueBlue elite members get?
Mosaic 1 members get their first checked bag included (the second costs US$59 off-peak or US$69 at peak within the Americas), and Mosaic 2, 3 and 4 members get the first and second bags included, on transatlantic flights too.
Which JetBlue TrueBlue tiers get lounge access, and where?
Mosaic 4 is the level with free lounge access: JetBlue added complimentary access to its BlueHouse lounge at JFK as a Mosaic 4 benefit for 2026, and its August 2026 announcement extends that, with one guest, to the Boston BlueHouse that opened on 27 August 2026. Mosaic 1 to 3 members can buy one-time passes instead (US$59 for Mosaic 3, US$79 for Mosaic 1 and 2).

Do JetBlue TrueBlue elite members get complimentary upgrades, and how are they prioritised?
Upgrades come as Move to Mint certificates that you apply yourself: Mosaic 3 members get 4 Move to Mint certificates on reaching 150 tiles and Mosaic 4 members 4 more at 250 tiles, plus 2 for every further 100 tiles. They go on an eligible Main or EvenMore booking in Manage Trips, up to 2 hours before departure, subject to Mint availability.

Do JetBlue TrueBlue elite members get free seat selection or extra-legroom seats?
Yes, on JetBlue-operated flights and pending availability. When EvenMore launched in January 2025, JetBlue made it a Mosaic Signature Perk: Mosaic 1 members can take EvenMore at check-in and Mosaic 2, 3 and 4 members can select it when booking, at no extra charge, and every Mosaic member can pick extra-legroom seats at booking for free. Blue Basic fares were excluded from March 1, 2025, and JetBlue's Mosaic help page says all seat fees apply on Main Base fares.
Which fees does JetBlue TrueBlue waive for elite members?
Mosaic members skip the US$25 phone and chat service fee, the US$100 same-day switch and standby fees on Main, EvenMore and Mint fares (JetBlue shows no such waiver on Base fares), and checked bag fees: the first bag at Mosaic 1 and the first two at Mosaic 2 to 4, which otherwise cost US$45 and US$59 off-peak on flights within the Americas.
Can elite benefits in JetBlue TrueBlue be shared with family or a companion?
Partly. Benefits a Mosaic member extends to others on the same reservation or itinerary apply only if the Mosaic member checks in with all of those travellers, and one of the Mosaic Perks You Pick is a 20-tile boost you give to the TrueBlue member of your choice.

Do surplus qualifying points roll over to the next year in JetBlue TrueBlue?
No. Tile balances reset to 0 on January 1 of each year, so tiles beyond the level you reach do not carry into the next year, and tiles from a Perks You Pick 20-tile bonus count for the year in which you select them.

Yes, in two ways. JetBlue's 2024 Mosaic update let Mosaic 4 members gift Mosaic 1 status, with all its signature perks, to another member, and any Mosaic member can give a 20-tile bonus to someone else as one of their Perks You Pick.

Not by buying points: points you buy, gift or transfer can be used for award redemptions but do not earn tiles toward Mosaic.
Will JetBlue TrueBlue elite benefits be recognised on partner airlines?

Does JetBlue TrueBlue use a fixed award chart or dynamic pricing for JetBlue flights?
Dynamic and tied to the fare. TrueBlue has no award chart: the points needed for a JetBlue flight are based on the published base fare at the time of booking, so they vary with destination, day of the week, season and how far ahead you book. See how TrueBlue prices awards.
What is the cheapest award ticket in JetBlue TrueBlue?
The one on the lowest fare. Because the points for a JetBlue flight are based on the published base fare at the time of booking, low-fare days and routes cost the fewest points; taxes add US$5.60 one way within the US.
Can I book one-way awards in JetBlue TrueBlue, and are they half the round-trip price?
Yes. Awards are priced from the published fare of the flights you choose, and JetBlue quotes award taxes both one way (US$5.60 within the US, US$5.60 to US$161.50 internationally) and round trip (US$11.20 within the US).
How do I search for award seats on JetBlue?
Start a flight search on jetblue.com or in the JetBlue app, tick the Use TrueBlue points box and search: the results show the points needed for a 100% points booking on each flight, alongside Cash + Points options on JetBlue-operated flights.
What is the difference between saver and standard (or flexible) awards in JetBlue TrueBlue?
Instead of saver and standard levels, each JetBlue award is priced from a specific fare (Base, Main, EvenMore or Mint, and the Flex versions), and a Base fare award keeps the Base rule that a fee applies to change or cancel it, payable by credit card.

Yes, on JetBlue-operated flights, through Cash + Points. Partner airline itineraries must be paid 100% in points, and a redemption booking can use at most two forms of payment.
How do I add an infant or child to an award ticket in JetBlue TrueBlue?
Add a lap infant (three days old to their second birthday, one per adult) while booking on jetblue.com; for a reservation you have already made, contact JetBlue by chat. What does an infant cost on a JetBlue TrueBlue award ticket?
Nothing on domestic flights: JetBlue charges nothing to add a lap infant, meaning a child from three days old to their second birthday, one per adult. On flights to the US from international points of origin, infant fees apply and vary by the departure country.
Can an unaccompanied minor travel on a JetBlue TrueBlue award ticket?
JetBlue flies unaccompanied children aged 5 to 13 for a fee of US$150 per person each way, on nonstop flights only: no connections and no flights to the UK or Europe. Unaccompanied minor travel can be booked on jetblue.com.
Can I pay pet fees with points on JetBlue, and do pet fees earn points?
Pet fees can be paid with points since March 31, 2026, when JetBlue added pet travel fees to the extras you can redeem points for, along with seats, first and second checked bags and priority security.

JetBlue gives active military members courtesy boarding, after Group 3 and before general boarding, alongside customers travelling with car seats or strollers.
Are there special award rules for medical or bereavement travel in JetBlue TrueBlue?
JetBlue's change and cancellation policy covers these cases for its tickets generally: if the ticketed customer dies, the booking can be refunded to the original form of payment for them and any travelling companions, and for a death in the immediate family JetBlue may consider a fee waiver on seeing a death certificate, funeral program or obituary. Customers affected by a public health emergency, a mandatory quarantine or a serious communicable disease submit a form with supporting documents.

The biggest 2026 change came on March 31, when JetBlue made points usable for seat assignments (including EvenMore upgrades), first and second checked bags, pet fees and priority security, and launched Points On Repeat, a subscription of 1,000 to 2,500 points a month from US$144 a year whose top tier adds 3 points per dollar on flights and a 10% redemption rebate.

Has JetBlue TrueBlue changed its name or currency recently?
TrueBlue and its points keep their names in JetBlue's 2025 and 2026 announcements. The recent renaming was of JetBlue's travel booking site: in August 2025 Paisly by JetBlue became TrueBlue Travel, still powered by Paisly, where hotels, cars and activities earn TrueBlue points.

BlueFirst, JetBlue's new domestic first class, starts rolling out later in 2026 on non-Mint aircraft and routes. It sits in a fare structure announced on July 27, 2026 (Main, EvenMore, BlueFirst and Mint, each sold as Base, Standard or Flex, with no Base fares in Mint), and JetBlue says Mosaic members and cardholders keep the same benefits.

For 2026, announced in October 2025: Mosaic status now runs through January 31, tiles earned by children 12 and under count toward the listed adult's status from February 1, 2026, the bonus rose to 4 points per dollar for Mosaic 3 and 5 for Mosaic 4, and Mosaic 4 gained two more Move to Mint certificates and JFK lounge access.
