Earn Airline Miles with Uber, Lyft and Everyday Partners

In the United States the split is simple: Delta is with Uber, United and Alaska are with Lyft, and American has no rideshare partner. Outside the US, Uber is the partner for Aeroplan, British Airways, Flying Blue, Miles & More, Qantas and Cathay, while KrisFlyer works with Grab.

• Delta SkyMiles and Uber: 3 miles per dollar on Uber Reserve, 2 on UberXL, Comfort, Black and Black SUV, 1 on UberX to or from an airport, and 1 on Uber Eats restaurant and grocery orders of $40 or more. Delta SkyMiles American Express cards add 1 mile per dollar on top. Link in the Uber app under Account, then Partner Rewards. US members only; miles post within 10 business days.
• United MileagePlus and Lyft: 4 miles per dollar on pre-scheduled airport rides, 3 on Extra Comfort, Black, Black SUV and on-demand airport rides, 2 on standard rides under a Business Profile, and 1 on standard personal rides. New links earn 1,000 bonus miles after two rides in 30 days. Since April 2026 you can also pay for a Lyft ride with miles, up to $250 per ride. Link at united.com/lyft, then confirm in the Lyft app.
• Alaska Atmos Rewards and Lyft: 3 points per dollar on airport rides and on Extra Comfort, Black and Black SUV, 2 on standard, Priority Pickup and XL rides, plus 1 status point per dollar from 2026. Base fare only, US and Canada. Link at AlaskaLyft.com. Lyft allows only one airline partner active at a time, so this and United are either-or.
• Air Canada Aeroplan and Uber: 1 point per dollar on standard airport rides and on premium rides, 2 on premium airport rides, and 1 per dollar on Uber Eats restaurant orders of $40 or more and on grocery and retail delivery with no minimum. A 1,000 point bonus on the first ride and another on the first Eats order, and 250 points a month for one ride plus one restaurant and one grocery order. Canada and US.
• British Airways Club and Uber: 3 Avios per pound on Uber Reserve, 2 on XL, Exec, Lux, Comfort, Black Cab and airport trips, and 1 per pound on Uber Eats orders over £25. UK and Ireland only, so a US member gains nothing from linking.
• Flying Blue and Uber: 1 mile per euro on rides in France and the Netherlands, rising to 2 miles per euro for the rest of the month and the next three months once you take four rides in a calendar month. Uber Eats is excluded.
• Miles & More and Uber: 1 mile per euro or franc on rides in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, 2 to or from airports. Requires a phone number from one of those countries. Confirmed on Uber's German newsroom; the Miles & More page did not load for this review, so check it before relying on the rate.
• Qantas Frequent Flyer and Uber: 1 point per A$2 on any Uber to or from more than 22 Australian airports, 1 per A$1 on Uber Reserve airport trips, and for Uber One members 1 per A$1 on Comfort and Black rides anywhere in Australia plus 1 per A$2 on Uber Eats restaurant orders over A$20. 1,000 bonus points for a first-ever Uber trip after linking.
• Cathay and Uber Taxi: 20 Asia Miles per Uber Taxi ride in Hong Kong, 40 to or from Hong Kong International Airport, and 500 for a first-time Uber user's first taxi. Launched October 2025.
• KrisFlyer and Grab: GrabCoins convert to miles inside the Grab app, from 650 GrabCoins for 50 miles up to 26,000 for 2,000 miles, across Grab's Southeast Asian markets.
• Qatar Airways Privilege Club and Snoonu: 1 Avios per QAR 3 on delivery orders above QAR 150 through a linked Visa card, in Qatar.

Bilt Rewards is the wildcard. Bilt points earn 2x on most Lyft rides when Bilt is your active Lyft partner, and Bilt transfers 1:1 to Atmos Rewards, Aeroplan, Flying Blue, Virgin Atlantic, Emirates, Turkish and others, so a Bilt member can route Lyft spend into airlines that have no rideshare deal of their own.

Older guides still list several deals that no longer pay. Check the airline's current partner page before assuming a link is live.

• Delta and Lyft: Lyft is no longer on Delta's SkyMiles partners page, and Delta's rideshare partner has been Uber since April 2025. Delta has not published the date the Lyft partnership ended, and Lyft's help article on it now returns a 404.
• Delta and Instacart: Delta once announced an Instacart partnership, but Instacart is not on Delta's current partners page and Delta has not published when it ended.
• Emirates Skywards and Careem: every Emirates page for the 2016 deal now returns 404 and Careem is absent from the Skywards partner list. Emirates and Uber signed a memorandum of understanding in June 2025 to "explore" earning and redeeming in the UAE, but no rates or launch date have been published.
• Etihad Guest and talabat announced 1 mile per AED 3 in 2021, but talabat is not on Etihad's current Miles on the Go partner list, so the offer is not confirmed as live.
• DoorDash, Grubhub, Deliveroo and Bolt have no airline-miles partnership with any of the 18 programs we checked for this guide. DashPass gives Lyft discounts, not miles.

• You link once, inside the rideshare app, by entering your frequent flyer number and verifying your phone. Uber lets you keep one airline partner per account; Lyft lets you switch, but only one is active at a time.
• Miles are paid on the fare before promotions, tips, taxes, tolls and fees, and shared or Wait & Save rides are almost always excluded.
• Family, teen and guest rides usually do not earn, and business-profile rides sometimes earn a different rate (United pays 2 miles per dollar on standard rides under a Business Profile against 1 on personal).
• Posting times range from 24 hours (BA, Lyft partners) to 10 business days (Delta) to 8 weeks (Aeroplan). If miles are missing after that window, the airline's retro-claim form usually will not help; contact the app's support with the trip receipt.
• Rideshare miles are award miles only, except Alaska, which adds status points, and Etihad's Miles on the Go, which adds tier miles.
• The card you pay with still earns. A Delta Reserve card on a Delta-linked Uber account earns from Delta twice, once as the partner rate and once as the card rate, plus Uber's own promotions.

American AAdvantage, Virgin Atlantic, Turkish, Korean Air, JAL, Etihad and KrisFlyer (for Uber) have no live rides partnership. Three workarounds cover most of them:

• Pay with a transferable-points card and move the points later. Chase, Amex, Capital One, Citi and Bilt points all transfer to at least a dozen of the programs on this site; the transfer partner matrix shows the ratios.
• Link the ride to a program you also collect. A Bilt member can send Lyft points to Turkish or Virgin Atlantic; a Delta flyer can still earn SkyMiles on Uber even if American is their main program.
• Use the program's other everyday partners. Most airlines pay on dining, shopping portals, fuel and groceries even without a rideshare deal: American's dining and shopping portals, JAL's Mileage Mall for Amazon, Qatar and Etihad's card-linked mall offers. Each earn page lists them by program.

• Delta: Starbucks (1 mile per dollar, relaunched August 2026, requires a Delta flight in the past 12 months), Airbnb (1 mile per dollar on homes, 3 on experiences, from May 2026), SkyMiles Dining up to 5 miles per dollar.
• United: Instacart pays bonus miles rather than a per-dollar rate, 5,000 for new customers who complete four orders, plus $0 delivery fees in the week around a domestic United flight.
• Alaska: Carrs and Safeway groceries at 1 point per dollar, 1-800-Flowers at 25 points per dollar, Laithwaites wine, and a 50,000 point mortgage bonus with Rate.
• Aeroplan: Starbucks Canada card reloads, LCBO, Journie fuel, and Chexy for rent and tax payments.
• British Airways: bp pulse EV charging up to 4 Avios per pound, Nectar conversions, and a wide Avios shop.
• Qantas: BP fuel at 1 to 2 points per litre, Everyday Rewards conversions from Woolworths, and the Qantas Wellbeing app for step and sleep goals.
• KrisFlyer: the Kris+ app pays 3 to 9 miles per S$1 at more than 1,700 dining and retail partners in Singapore, plus Esso and Shell fuel conversions.
• Cathay: Card Linked Earn across more than 100 brands, dining at 3 miles per HKD 4, and Shell fuel.
• Emirates: the Skywards Everyday app pays 1 mile per AED 3 at shops and dining and 1 per AED 5 at groceries and pharmacies in the UAE.
• Etihad: Miles on the Go pays 1 mile plus 1 tier mile per AED 3 at partner malls and attractions in Abu Dhabi.
